Our Mission

DailyBreath Forecast and the DailyBreath App were born from a lightbulb moment when founder, Eric Klos realized during a conversation with his sister, who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, that the impact of weather and environmental conditions on health was not being addressed.

Being able to understand the factors that make life more challenging for people with weather-affected health conditions became his mission. Eric dove into researching ways to help avoid potentially negative health outcomes by transforming the distributed public health model for tracking exposures generally into a personalized, respiratory learning and warning system based on each patient’s individual susceptibility to exposures.
